Accessibility

Our accessibility commitments and known gaps.

Standards

FreeMathWorksheet targets WCAG 2.2 AA. That means readable contrast in both light and dark surfaces, text that reflows at 200 percent zoom without loss of content, visible focus states on every interactive element, and semantic landmarks and headings on every page.

Because pages are generated from shared templates, an accessibility fix applies across the entire library at once rather than page by page.

Keyboard and screen readers

Every navigation menu, quiz, flashcard deck and game can be operated by keyboard alone. Menus open on focus as well as hover, dialogs trap focus and return it on close, and interactive practice announces state changes politely so a screen-reader user hears whether an answer was accepted.

Printable resources keep a logical reading order, so a PDF read aloud follows the same sequence as the page.

Reduced motion

Animated scenes, the knowledge-graph visualisation and game feedback all respect the operating system's reduced-motion preference. With it enabled, motion is replaced by instant state changes rather than removed content.

Nothing on the platform relies on motion, colour or sound alone to convey meaning.

Report an issue

If any page blocks you, tell us the URL, the device and the assistive technology you were using. Accessibility reports are treated as bugs, not feature requests, and template-level fixes are shipped across the whole library.
