Frequently asked

How is the phonics platform organised?
Phonics is a top-level ecosystem, not a topic inside English. It runs Hub → Section → Concept → Aspect: 18 sections, every letter, sound, digraph, blend and word family as its own concept, and up to 29 aspects inside each one.
Where should a child start?
At the level, not the age. Level 0 is pre-reading, Level 1 is alphabet knowledge, Level 2 is letter sounds. The two-minute screener in Assessments places any learner on the ladder.
Does it work for ESL, intervention and special education?
Yes. Every concept page carries audience views for students, teachers, parents, homeschool, ESL, tutors and special education, each with different pacing and prompts.
What resources come with each concept?
Every phonics concept automatically generates 18 resource types: Lesson, Lesson Plan, Worksheet, Interactive Worksheet, Quiz, Flashcards, Games, Songs, Videos, Reading Practice, Printable Activities, Craft Activities, Homework, Assessment, Teacher Guide, Parent Guide, AI Tutor, Book a Tutor.
Which phonics programme does it follow?
A structured synthetic phonics progression, mapped so it fits Letters and Sounds, Jolly Phonics, Science of Reading, Common Core and the UK National Curriculum rather than replacing any of them.
How is progress tracked?
Screeners and full assessments feed the progress tracker, plus dedicated teacher and parent dashboards that show the next teaching step for every learner.
