- How long should we practise?
- Five to ten minutes a day beats an hour at the weekend. The routine below is built for five minutes.
- What if my child guesses the word?
- Cover the picture, point under each sound, and ask them to blend. Guessing from pictures is the habit to break early.
- Do I need to know phonics myself?
- No. Every sound has an audio model on its page, so you can tap and copy before your child repeats it.
